From Denver to Gunnison (over Monarch
Pass):
Take Highway 285 South out of Denver and travel through Bailey and Fairplay, and on to Buena Vista. Continue on 285 South to Poncha Springs, and turn right heading west on Highway 50, which will take you over Monarch Pass and on to Gunnison. The drive from Denver normally takes about 4 to 5 hours, depending on weather and road conditions.
From Colorado Springs to Gunnison:
Take Highway 24 West to Buena Vista. From Buena Vista, follow the directions above via Monarch Pass.
From Gunnison to Crested Butte:
Head north out of Gunnison on Highway 135. Drive approximately 27 miles to Crested Butte.
Kebler Pass:
Enter the town of Crested Butte on Highway 135 and turn left on to Whiterock Avenue. Follow this road west through town and across Coal Creek. It will become Kebler Pass Road (County Road 12). During winter, this road will dead-end where you can ride snowmobiles. No trailers required. Click on the image below to get directions from Google Maps.
Taylor Park:
Our Taylor Park location is at the Taylor Park Trading Post. You can pick up your snowmobile and ride without the need for a trailer.
From Gunnison to Taylor Park: Head north out of Gunnison on Highway 135 to Almont (about 10 miles). At Almont, turn right on County Road 742 and travel about 22 miles up Taylor Canyon to Taylor Park. After driving along Taylor Reservoir, the road will bend to the left and you will cross a bridge. Just past the bridge, take a right toward Tin Cup. Go about 100 yards and take a left into the Trading Post parking lot.
From Crested Butte to Taylor Park:
Head south out of Crested Butte on Highway 135. Drive approximately
17 miles to Almont. At Almont, turn left on County Road 742 and
travel about 22 miles up Taylor Canyon to Taylor Park. After driving
along Taylor Reservoir, the road will bend to the left and you will
cross a bridge. Just past the bridge, take a right toward Tin Cup.
Go about 100 yards and take a left into the Trading Post parking
lot.
